About 40 and 1 Youth Baseball
40 & 1 baseball has been providing the opportunity for children from Rochester and surrounding communities the opportunity to participate in a competitive and instructional baseball league since 1953; when schools 40 and 41 created a youth baseball league.
Many players from 40 &1 have gone on to play succesfully at higher levels of competition and those whose baseball careers started and ended on the 40 & 1 fields still look back fondly on the years spent playing ball and making friends while family and friends cheered them on!
The continuing mission of 40 & 1 is to organize, promote, teach and supervise youth baseball for the athletic benefit, fun and enjoyment of all players, parents and neighbors.
We strive to provide the best value possible for our families and players including:
- Opening Day Parade and Festivities
- 15 game schedule
- Major League Replica jerseys
- New Field House and restroom facilities
- Player parade at Frontier Field
- Trophies and Medals for all Participants.
40 & 1 is a volunteer run organization committed to passing down the skills, discipline and tradition of baseball to the current generation of players and is a 501(c)3 organization. Donations to the organization are tax deductible and are used to enhance the experience of all players.
